Purpose: This web site has been authorized by the Palm Beach County MS4 NPDES (PBC NPDES) Steering Committee as a resource for all co-permittees within the county. It is intended that this site will provide the user with helpful information on understanding and complying with the requirements of the NPDES permit.
Permit
The Palm Beach County Second term NPDES permit was issued on November 18, 2002.
In order to assist Palm Beach County co-permittees in complying with the 2nd term NPDES permit, we have prepared a list of the requirements in the permit that involve activities (e.g. maintaining logs, documenting inspection activities) that would best be documented on an on-going basis. We believe that documenting these activities throughout the year will reduce the effort required at the end of the reporting period, when annual report information must be compiled and preparations must be made for site inspections by DEP personnel. The list also includes most other permit requirements, to remind co-permittees of activities that should be underway at this time. You'll need the free plug-in, Acrobat Reader.
